Resilience over fear

RESILIENCE OVER FEAR

When you are going through a difficult situation , its hard to think positive thoughts or to even dream big.

Being an entrepreneur, in our country at this moment I feel is a challenge due to factors such as  loadshedding, water shortages , service delivery protests. However, God anoints and empowers us to do difficult things at difficult times. Think of David when he faced Goliath. Think of Shadrack, M , A when they were thrown in the fire. There are countless examples in the bible how God anointed His people to do the difficult things at those difficult times.

If we believe its too hard, we have quit before we have even tried.

If you believe that with Gods help we can do anything, then we are well on our way to success.

In Deuteuronomy 30:11 AMP: “Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.

The apostle Paul writes in Phillippians 4:13 AMP I have strength for all things in Christ who empowers me. I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses inner strength into me. I am self sufficient in Christs sufficiency. When we train our minds, we train ourselves to think we can do all things through Christ we find nothing hard to do.

Michelle Obama wrote: Go fourth with a spoonful of fear and return with a wagonful of competence.

You need to nudge yourself into competence and you will find yourself one step closer to competence.

An insert from the book: “It only takes one minute to change your life, the author Willie Jolley wrote the richest place in the world is the graveyard. In it lies all the people who had great ideas that would have made them wealthy but they instead listened to the negative person who told them they cant. “

Oprah Winfrey said “Failure is another stepping stone to greatness.”

Sadly that is where most of us tend to stop when things don’t work out the way  we planned. But did we invite God into our plans before we got started? or did we only invite Him in when things started to go pear shaped.

It is very important to renew our minds to the promises of God.

Romans 12:2 AMP “Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

We need to have courage under fire, because there will always be obstacles and challenges.

But instead during these challenging times we improvise. In other words we think of a “Plan B”.

But as children of God, our only plan is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. We look to Johovah Nissi, the Lord our Banner he will lead us into Victory. Our Jehova Shammah, He is there.
