Revival starts with you
Romans 1:15-16 NIV “That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.”
Galatians 5:24-25 NIV “Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” � The flesh will keep you out of the spirit (any area where your flesh still controls, you are limited from your real true potential)
Galatians 5:1 NKJV “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.”
SO ITS MORE ACCURATE TO SAY REVIVAL STARTS IN YOU!
We are to live “VIVED” everyday, we are praying for something and then waiting for the Lord to send “IT” when “IT” already lives in you!!!! The anointing that flows from the Holy Spirit!
Individually:-
– This means daily spending time with the Lord
– Being sensitive to the Holy Spirit
– Working out “my Salvation with Feat & Trembling (Living with Gratitude daily)
Corporately:-
– Planted in the house of the Lord.
– Connected to the Vision of the house, giving by the Lead Pastor & Elders.
Acts 2:42-47 NIV “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
10inONE Promise is for all of us, individually and corporately.
SO Let’s KEEP IN STEP!
II Peter 1:4 NKJV “by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in
the world through lust.” (Mention what’s follows in terms of the Fruit)
The “Promises” have a refining quality in the life of the believer.
– Before there fulfillment that produce character and perseverance.
– After fulfillment Joy and satisfaction and desire to serve Him more.
Both of these lead us into a deeper revelation of Grace and helps us to “keep in step” with the Holy Spirit!
Ephesians 3:20-21 NLTSE “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.”
NLT: Imagine, dream off, beyond what the limits of your one thinking!
Ephesians 3:14-16 NLTSE “When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, The Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.
– Outward Focused
– Empower others
Ephesians 3:17 NLTSE “Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.”
– He will live in you by Faith
– Making you His HOME!
Ephesians 3:18 NLTSE “And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.”
– Rooted in & Understanding God’s Love for you personally!
Ephesians 3:19 NLTSE “May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
Filled with His Fullness (character / nature {fruit of the Spirit} who God is)
Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness & Self Control. (against such there is no law) Godly character in you is what becoming Christlike is about! It takes character to stay committed to the purpose and will of God for the LONG HAUL, but it is always so worth it!
It brings stability, increased opportunity to make an impact and a rest that you aren’t doing this in
your own ability!
As we grow in GODS character “HOPE” comes alive!
Romans 5:3-5 NKJV “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
HOPE:- Biblical Hope is a “fond expectation of good”. ELPIS:- to anticipate, usually with pleasure and expectation or confidence.
Hope is VISION ( seeing what God sees)
Biblical Vision is:
– Knowing God’s Will
– Doing God’s Will
– And most importantly Continuing in His Will.(not how you start, but how you continue and finish)
II Timothy 4:7-8 NKJV “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.”
Character (fruit of the spirit) in my life produce Hope or Vision and Vision gives me clarity and purpose to run my race!
Proverbs 29:18 TPT “When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray. But when you follow the revelation of the Word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul.”
Jewish Bible:- they throw off restraint!
Our Vision & Mission: Keeping in step, keeps us positioned and flowing with what God seems important!
Luke 19:41-44 NKJV “Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.””
Let’s recognize the season of our visitation and the opportunity before us to partner with God’s Vision of saving Mankind and Discipling the Nations!
Romans 8:6-9 AMPC ”Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is
death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever]. [That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot. So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him. But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a child of God]. [Rom. 8:14.]“ Keep in step and you will Learn to go with God’s Flow, God’s Word makes it clear.”
If you follow the carnal mind—the natural, unregenerated mind—it leads to death.
But if you are spiritually minded, which means the Spirit of God lives in you and you heed what He tells you to do, you are alive and you walk with God.
The choice is yours.
I Kings 18:21 NKJV “And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.”
MAKE UP YOUR MIND TODAY WHO YOU WILL FOLLOW AND SERVE!
You can travel down the river of least resistance and let the undertow pull you wherever it wants.
Or you can choose to go with God’s flow.
Philippians 2:13 NKJV “for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”(to do what pleases Him)
God’s Spirit is working in you, so You can Rest and let His Spirit do a thorough work in you.
He will Transform your thoughts and attitudes until you can see all things and people the way God sees them.
Even when you are doing your worst, God believes the best in regard to you, and He works with you to bring the best out of you.
I have several suggestions for teaching you how to flow in the mind of Christ.
1. Decide to be a FruitCake Galatians 5:22-24 (Crucify the flesh with its passions and evil desires.)
2. Renew your mind to the Word daily. Start by thinking positive things for your life and situation.
3. Start to agree and say what the Word says about you
4. Remind yourself often that you are loved. God loves me unconditionally. He has given me His Spirit and put a new heart and attitude in me.
STAYING IN STEP is following the inward prompting or nudges that the Holy Spirit will show you!
– GREEN-GO or MOVE ON
– AMBER-PAUSE
– RED-STOP or DON’T
Romans 8:14 AMP “For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”
