What is the definition of emotions ?

Emotions is a strong feeling deriving from one’s circumstances, mood or relationships with others.

Psalm 7:9 NIV: “Bring to an end the violence of the wicked and make the righteous secure- you, the righteous God who probes minds and hearts.”

In Ps 7v9 God teaches us to walk in the fruit of the spirit regardless of how we feel.

Have you ever been in a situation where one thing after the next has been annoying you and you have been barely holding it together not to explode and then it happens you explode and act out what’s on the inside.

Ps 7v9 speaks about the test we undergo in controlling our emotions and to walk in the spirit regardless of how we feel.

I had a situation last week, I had a test, Gods test on how I was going to walk in the spirit regardless of how I felt. My car went in for a routine service and I had to pay for additional extras that I didn’t budget for, not even a week after I paid an arm and a leg for the service my car starting having issues with the same warning lights it had when I took it in for a service, the first time. I was so angry, I did not walk in the spirit. At that moment , I should have remained calm and behaved in a way that people could see that the Holy Spirit lives inside of me.

What’s inside always comes out, when someone offends you. If someone offends you what do you think will come out? Anger is a choice.

Joyce Meyer says :”Trying times are learning times, pass your test so you don’t have to take it again”

Gods Grace allows us to try again without feeling condemned.
