Empowered to Produce | Through Blood by Faith

Through the blood by faith

Through blood by faith, I felt a fresh surge of God’s power when Ps Larry taught the fourth message in our The Blood Applied Series on Sunday, 20 July 2025, at Rhema South Coast Family Church. If you missed it—or want to revisit the life‑changing truths—watch the full sermon here. Now, are you ready to find out how the blood of Jesus fuels our productivity and purpose?

The Great Exchange: Embracing Divine Productivity

The blood of productivity

I love how Ps  Larry started by explaining the “blood of productivity.” On the cross, Jesus absorbed our laziness and entitlement, and in return He gave us diligence, creativity, compassion, and generosity

As Scripture promises, Deuteronomy 28:8 reminds us, “The Lord will command the blessing on you… in everything to which you set your hand.” When God prompts us, we act immediately—because delayed obedience is disobedience.

Rooted in Grace, Flourishing in Faith

Grace-Faith-Good-works

Next, we were challenged to remember that our ability to produce good works isn’t born of effort but of grace.

Paul declares, Ephesians 2:8–10, “For by grace you have been saved through faith… not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.” It’s not about earning God’s favour—it’s about living out the favour already placed on us.

Dunamis Power: From Witness to Disciple-Maker

Friend, we’re called not only to work hard but to witness boldly. In Acts 1:8 AMPC, “But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses…”

That Greek word dunamis gives us our English dynamite—explosive strength in the Spirit. Jesus poured His life into His twelve disciples; now He calls us to do the same.

Matthew 4:19, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men,” shows that discipleship begins with our own follow‑ship.

Ambassadors of Reconciliation

I felt my heart stir when Ps Larry declared our ministry: reconciliation.

2 Corinthians 5:18–20 says, “All this is from God… who has given us the ministry of reconciliation… we are ambassadors for Christ.”

We carry the good news of forgiveness and speak with divine authority. Every chat over coffee or WhatsApp becomes an opportunity to point someone back to the Father.

Endure Hardship, Evangelise, Fulfil Your Calling

Then came the practical charge from 2 Timothy 4:5—_“But you, be sober in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”__ Here’s how you can apply it this week:

  1. Be Sober – Keep clear eyes and intentional priorities.
  2. Endure – Face challenges without quitting.
  3. Evangelise – Share the gospel over lunch, on social media, and in your neighbourhood.
  4. Fulfil – Sunday attendance is great, but our real test is faithful living Monday to Saturday.

Sowing in Tears, Reaping with Joy

Finally, Psalm 126 spoke right to the soul: “Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy! … he who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts of joy” (Psalm 126:5–6 NKJV).

Whether you’re praying for your teenager, your neighbour, or a co‑worker, keep sowing seeds of His Word. Partner with Daughters of Worth to pray over women in our church—as we sow, we believe for a joyful harvest.

Family and Kids: Building Generational Faith

I also love seeing little ones learn early. Our Big Church for Kids ministry brings Scripture alive for the next generation. Encourage your kids to join the fun online—and watch them grow in confidence to share Jesus with their friends.

And this Friday at Rhema South Coast Family Church, we’re hosting The Best Talent Show for under‑18s—singing, dancing, poetry, you name it! It’s a chance for our young people to shine, raise funds for next year’s Youthfest, and build community.

If you’d like to enter a young talent, contact Richard. If you’d love to sponsor a prize, reach out to Ps Larry. Let’s cheer them on as they use their gifts for God’s glory!

Through the Blood by Faith | Reap a Rich Harvest

Church, this week let’s walk in the capacity Jesus’ blood has purchased for us. By faith, we’ll act in obedience, lean on grace, release the Spirit’s power, and reap a rich harvest–through the blood, by faith.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the blood of Jesus that empowers us to produce by faith. Fill us with Your Spirit, sharpen our obedience, and give us boldness to share Your reconciliation. May we sow generously, endure faithfully, and reap joyous harvests for Your glory.

In Jesus’ mighty name,

Amen!

You have been made like Jesus
